This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be available for purchases made through this website. It applies to subscription and trial transactions for digital editorial publications, online content, newsletters, reports, guides, and other digital materials provided by us. This Refund Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Cancellation Policy, Privacy Policy, and any information shown at checkout before you complete a purchase. By purchasing a trial, subscription, or other digital product from this website, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. Digital Product Nature
Our products and services consist of digital content and digital editorial publications delivered online, by email, through a member area, or by other electronic means.
No physical goods are shipped. Because the products are digital and may be accessed shortly after purchase, refund rights may differ from those that apply to physical products.
Examples of digital products may include:
- Digital newsletters
- Online editorial publications
- Digital guides or reports
- Subscription-based content
- Email-based content access
- Digital resources made available after payment
2. Trial Charges
Where a trial is offered, the trial fee displayed at checkout is charged once at the beginning of the trial period.
Before you complete payment, the checkout page will display important billing information, including, where applicable:
- The trial price
- The trial duration
- The renewal price after the trial
- The renewal frequency
- The date or timing of the first renewal
- Instructions or information about cancellation
You must cancel before the end of the trial period, or before the renewal date shown at checkout, if you do not want your subscription to renew.
Trial fees are generally non-refundable once digital access has been provided, unless:
- You were charged by mistake
- A duplicate charge occurred
- A technical issue prevented access and we could not resolve it
- A refund is required by applicable law
3. Subscription Renewal Charges
After the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically renew at the price and billing frequency shown at checkout, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Renewal charges are generally non-refundable once the relevant billing period has started and digital access has been provided, except where applicable law (including any statutory renewal cooling‑off rights once in force) requires a refund.
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals. It does not automatically refund charges already made for the current billing period, unless a refund is required under applicable law or one of the refund exceptions in this Policy applies.
3.1. UK DMCCA 2024 — renewal cooling-off period (anticipated Spring 2027)
In anticipation of the UK Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 (DMCCA), once the relevant subscription provisions are brought into force (currently expected in Spring 2027), certain UK subscription renewals may carry an additional 14‑day “renewal” cooling‑off period.
This can apply in particular where a subscription auto‑renews after a free trial, or where the contract is for a year or more (or any other categories set by the law when it takes effect).
Where this renewal cooling‑off right applies, if you cancel within the 14‑day renewal period you will be entitled to a proportionate refund for services not yet received. This supersedes any conflicting “non‑refundable once access is provided” language to the extent required by the DMCCA and other mandatory UK consumer protection law.
4. EU and UK Consumer Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may normally have a legal right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason.
However, this right may be affected where the purchase relates to digital content or digital services.
Where you purchase digital content or a digital subscription and request immediate access, you may be asked at checkout to:
- Give your express consent for supply or performance to begin during the withdrawal period; and
- Acknowledge that you may lose your right of withdrawal once supply or performance has begun — meaning when we first deliver paid content to your email or you first access subscriber content, not when payment alone is processed (see our Terms of Service, section 5.3).
If you provide this consent and acknowledgement, and supply or performance begins as defined in our Terms of Service (section 5.3), you may lose your right to withdraw from the initial purchase or relevant digital content purchase.
This does not affect your right to cancel future subscription renewals.
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under EU or UK law.
5. Immediate Access to Digital Content
Because our products are digital, supply may begin shortly after payment has been completed. For withdrawal purposes, performance is not treated as having begun until the first delivery of paid content by email or first subscriber account access, as explained in our Terms of Service (section 5.3).
Access may include, but is not limited to:
- Receiving paid content by email
- Accessing a digital publication
- Viewing subscriber-only content
- Receiving downloadable or online digital materials
- Activation of a paid subscription account
Once digital access has been provided for a paid billing period, the charge for that period is generally non-refundable, unless applicable law requires otherwise or a refund exception applies.
6. No Refund After Access for Standard Renewals
For standard renewal payments, once the billing period has started and access to digital content has been made available, the renewal fee is generally not refundable (except where mandatory law requires a refund, including any statutory renewal cooling‑off rights once in force).
This applies even if you do not actively use, read, or download the digital content during that billing period.
You are responsible for cancelling your subscription before the next renewal date if you do not wish to continue.
7. Refund Exceptions
We may issue a refund, partial refund, or account credit at our discretion, or where required by law, in the following situations:
- You were charged in error
- A duplicate payment was taken
- You were charged after a confirmed cancellation
- A technical failure prevented access to the purchased digital content and we could not resolve the issue within a reasonable time
- The transaction was unauthorized or fraudulent, subject to verification
- The amount charged was different from the price shown at checkout
- A refund is required under applicable consumer protection law
- We are unable to provide the digital product or subscription you purchased
We may request additional information before approving a refund, including your account email, payment details, transaction date, screenshots, or other evidence needed to investigate the request.
8. Partial Refunds and Account Credits
In some cases, we may offer a partial refund or account credit instead of a full refund.
This may apply where:
- You had access to the digital content for part of the billing period
- Only part of the service was affected by a technical issue
- A refund is not legally required but we choose to offer a goodwill credit
- The issue relates to a specific charge or billing period only
Any account credit offered has no cash value and may only be used for our digital products or services, unless we state otherwise.
9. Cancellation and Future Billing
You may cancel your subscription in accordance with our Cancellation Policy.
Cancellation stops future renewal charges. It does not automatically create a refund for charges already paid.
To avoid renewal charges, you must cancel before the renewal date or before the end of any trial period.
If you cancel after a renewal charge has already been processed, your cancellation will normally apply to the next billing cycle, unless otherwise required by law.
10. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us by email at: Refund enquiries: support@trendquarry.com
Please include the following information:
- Your full name
- Your account email address
- The date of the charge
- The amount charged
- The last four digits of the payment card, if applicable
- The reason for the refund request
- Any relevant screenshots or supporting information
We aim to review refund requests within a few business days. More complex cases, including fraud, unauthorized payments, or payment provider investigations, may take longer.
If a refund is approved, it will usually be returned to the original payment method where possible.
11. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are usually processed to the original payment method.
The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account may depend on your bank, card issuer, payment provider, or location.
We are not responsible for delays caused by banks, card networks, or payment processors after we have submitted the refund.
13. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you have a concern about a payment, you may contact us so we can investigate and try to resolve it quickly. Contacting us first is optional; it does not waive any chargeback, bank payment dispute, or other payment-protection rights you have under applicable law.
If you are a UK consumer and paid with a credit card, you may have additional rights under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 against your card issuer in certain circumstances. Those rights are separate from this Policy and are not affected by whether you contact us.
If a chargeback or bank payment dispute is initiated, access to the relevant account or subscription may be paused while the matter is reviewed, without prejudice to your statutory rights.
We may suspend or terminate access where a chargeback or dispute is found to be unwarranted or abusive, subject to applicable law.
14. Changes to This Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time.
The updated version will be posted on this website with a revised "Last updated" date.
The version that applies to your purchase is generally the version available at the time of your transaction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
